So what grub do you take when you go walking?

We've put together a few suggestions to suit your varied palates and pockets. They are generally meals that make a good lunch for four, but mix and match - good food always tastes better when you eat it outdoors.


  4 ready made bagels - all with salad and a choice of roast beef, smoked turkey, brisket, pastrami, chicken, smoked salmon and cream cheese, Cheddar, Edam, Mozzarella or Emmental
  6 pita breads
  1 tub tarama dip
  1 tub pepperdew dip
  4 large crunchy gurkins
  1 packet choc chip biscuits
  4 packets Munchie Man dried fruit
  1 liter Real Juice Co. orange juice
  1,5 liter bottled mineral water
   
  Also available: biltong, cold meats, melrose cheese wedges, croissants, plain bagels, variety of rolls, rye, Italian, french, wholewheat bread, more dips, various flavoured bagel chips and more... Also a small selection of red and white wine.

 

1 Oven Roasted chicken

  4 pumpkin seed rolls
  4 salad tubs - health bean, wholewheat pasta, crunchy veg, Italian potato, coleslaw, cous cous.
  1 packet homemade biscuits/halva
  4 Bar Ones
  4 Energade energy drinks
   
  Also available: cold meats, croissants, bap rolls, samoosas, filled rolls, glazed fruit, sushi packs, meze packs, tinned olives, soft fruit, yoghurt and a host of other goodies.

 

4 Danone Yoghurts - honey cereal, mixed berries, choc balls, crispy muesli, kiwi and pineapple.

 

1 packet kudu worse

  1 four-pack Safari trail mix
  1 four-pack Safari jungle chews
  150g peanuts and raisins
  4 Golden Harvest granola bars
  250g sunflower seeds
  2 packets of 250g Safari dried fruit - peaches, apple rings, apricots, pears, fruit salad
  1 liter Liquifruit
  1 liter bottled mineral water
