Armchair Hiking in the Western Cape

Let Mike Lundy take your mind up the mountains and you can leave your legs behind with your butt firmly planted in the armchair.

This selection of 101 of his many hiking columns, written for the Cape Times and Sunday Times between 1994 and 1998, is a highly informative and amusing collection of Lundy's ramblings.

In a survey conducted by Top of the Times, it was revealed that 86% of his newspaper column readers never set foot on the mountain, nor had any intention of doing so...

They were reading to be entertained and not to be guided. And that's just what this book does - entertains and amuses in bite size chunks. If you really want to use your legs, rather get the latest edition of one of his other books.
